These nights are growing longer and our days are getting colder.
As frostbite consumes my face, it's nice to feel something.
Take me back to the place where I used to have a heart, until it left me. I'm broken and cold.
I'm half the man I was.

Take me back to the place where our trust would have prospered through the years, it's been so tough. But I've never weakened on us, and I've never given up.
How long will I pursue to make sure we make through?
The darkest times, they are are ahead and we must face them and stay strong.

Though the days when we were careless seem a distant memory, an older chapter in this book, I'll keep my finger placed on the page so I can always look back ...

... and smile at where we've come from. We've made it here, we've stayed so strong and though some friends are moving on, we'll stay like this forever.

The world may pass us by in the blink of an eye.
